HOW DOES IT HELP YOU?
The CRP assay helps to detect health problems, diagnose inflammatory and infectious diseases and monitor disease progression. Testing CRP you can also assess if the treatments are being effective, so that our companion animals can receive the best care. With Turbovet method you can measure with confidence this biomarker in a few minutes, using a well validated and very stable assay. Turbovet is a canine-specific method, which is important to obtain a reliable diagnosis. The laboratory can easily incorporate the assay into their analytical profiles, improving its diagnostic capacity and providing better service to its clients.

TEST PRINCIPLE
Particle-enhanced turbidimetric method: in the reaction media CRP from serum reacts with specific antibodies fixed to latex particles, forming aggregates that originate and increase of turbidity. The increase of turbidity is determined with a photometric measure, and is proportional to the concentration of CRP in the sample. The assay uses a canine-specific calibrator standardized with a reference material for canine CRP (Canalias et al., 2018).
