HOW DOES IT HELP YOU?
Bovine ITIH4 is a biomarker for the diagnosis and monitoring of infectious or inflammatory processes in cattle. It shows a slower but more protracted response than haptoglobin. Thus the combination of both biomarkers allows detecting health problems and lack of well-being in the herd with great sensitivity. Acuvet ELISA is a species-specific, sensitive and reliable test. It allows measuring ITIH4 not only in serum but in milk where its increase is indicative of mastitis

TEST PRINCIPLE
Acuvet ELISA bovine ITIH4 is a sandwich-type ELISA based on a monoclonal antibody (capture) and peroxidase-labelled poclyclonal antibodies (detection) specific for bovine ITIH4. The assay is calibrated with a bovine-specific internal reference material, as no international standard is available for bovine ITIH4.
